We visited this place a few weeks ago on Friday evening. It was crowded and so we had to wait for a few minutes before the table was ready.
They serve New Haven style pizza. We ordered their Veggie/Garden pizza and one cheese pizza from their kids menu. The pizza were flavor ful but too thin. Maybe that is the style they serve. We loved the cheese pizza better than the Veggie one. They do substitutions for certain toppings for free and for certain ones with some extra charge.
This place is right off the main road in Dana point and has a good amount of parking spots. The ambience is really lovely and lively. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with heaters. The staff is also super friendly.
Worth a try if you are in the neighborhood.
Amazing pizza! We ordered take out and ordered 5 different pizzas and four salads for 15 adults and it was plenty! You can’t go wrong; every kind of pizza they serve here is exceptional! Love the thin crust and fresh ingredients! Especially the ricotta and the one with pineapple! Yum!! Will definitely be returning.
aPizza Doho is awesome. We've been seated inside twice, and the most recent visit we asked to be seated outside. What a great choice. Loved the atmosphere and the very well-behaved dogs under the table next to us. I built my own pizza this time with sausage, pepperoni, and pineapples. Wow. Loved it. This is the best pizza in Dana Point, and what a chill atmosphere. And, as an added bonus, every server there is cool, especially the hostess, Sabine!
Apizza Doho is THE SPOT FOR THE BEST PIZZAS in Dana Point! Our waitress Susie was AMAZING 🤩 and gave us an introduction to the history of where the pizzas were inspired and what to expect for an east coast style pizza 🍕. We ordered calamari for the appetizer, simple salad, Cesar salad, the burrata and the hwy 1 pizza and we were quite literally blown away! Next time I come down to Dana point I'll be bringing all my friends and family to this spot! Thank you Susie, staff and cooks for making this experience memorable and exceeding our expectations 💯
Excellent New Haven style Pizza. Terrific staff. Waiter was very patient with our questions and modifications to our order. We will definitely return. A little noisy but pizza was worth it.
The food was undeniably delicious, and the zucchini chips were equally delightful. While I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, my only concern was the steep price associated with it. The flavors and quality of the food left no room for complaints, yet the cost left me a bit hesitant.
Heard about Doho ( great play on words ) so went last weekend. The pizza was fantastic!!! Meatballs are always a test to good restaurant and Doho didn't disappoint, delicious 😋 and the marinara is amazing. Not garlicky like most! My favorite was the Zucchini Chips, so light they melt in your mouth. Brilliant signature appetizer. But what took our dining experience over the top was our server ( great job ) and chatting with the owner. Overall this place is a must for great food and good time vibes. We will be back soon!!
Pretty good pizza spot! Our server definitely elevated our experience, she was so nice and helpful. We ordered the Original and added pepperoni. The pizza was slightly on the greasy side but the flavors were great!
